I posted on insta last night - it was my 1000th post, I wrote something special but I also wrote something hoping to connect - it didn't - well if it did no one told me it did... it's such a curious place - I only post there two days a week as I'm all in for Substack - it's so spacious and generous with us! Cx
This is quite encouraging. I've had my 'stack for 8 months and it's hard to see when no one has pledged to subscribe. Although my audience is growing, it's still difficult to see any potential for pledgers.

I've noticed the name change, is this a sign of things to come? If so, I'm here for it and I'm super excited for what's to come.
I've been a full time creative since 2019, and I still get comments from family members asking when I'm going back to work (my background is in nursing). It's frustrating when your passion is not considered a 'proper' job by people, but I'm learning to ignore them as they're not my people, and I certainly wouldn't take advice from them 😅.
I think you absolutely can make a full time income from being creative, but I could do with some more help/ tips. Thank you for sharing this post, it was very much needed 😊
